Comfort and control are the same problem.

A suspension that soaks up a broken road but floats through a corner is not comfortable — it is uncontrolled. A suspension stiff enough to hold a line but harsh over every seam is not controlled — it is punishing. Damping is the discipline of resolving both at once, and it lives in the details: seal design, gas pressure, piston geometry, bushing density. FEDREX shock absorbers are built around those details rather than around a price point.

Key features

Why it holds up.

01

Unmatched driving comfort

Engineered for smooth rides and total control across highway, city and rough-surface use.

02

Vibration reduction

High-density rubber bushings absorb road input before it reaches the cabin, cutting noise and harshness.

03

Long-lasting performance

Component materials are selected for service life, not just for initial feel out of the box.

04

OEM replacement fitment

Direct-replacement geometry for GM platforms — no modification, no compromise on ride height.

05

Upgrade-ready

The same units serve as a performance upgrade over worn or under-specified factory dampers.

06

Corrosion resistance

Steel alloy housings are specified for the salt, moisture and grit of North American winters.

07

Consistent damping

Nitrogen charging keeps damping predictable when the oil is hot and the road is not.

08

Structural integrity

Precision-welded pistons hold their shape under repeated high-cycle loading.

09

Leak-free service life

Multi-lip oil seals keep fluid in and contamination out over the life of the unit.

Material highlights

What the damper
is actually made of.

/ 01

High-strength steel alloy housing

Corrosion-resistant and specified for extreme durability — the outer body is the part that takes stone impact, road salt and mounting load.

/ 02

Multi-lip oil seals

Prevents fluid leakage and maintains internal pressure. A shock that has lost even part of its charge no longer damps to specification.

/ 03

High-density rubber bushings

Reduces noise and vibration transmitted into the chassis, and isolates the mounting points from high-frequency road input.

/ 04

Nitrogen gas-charged technology

Reduces oil foaming under rapid cycling, which is what preserves damping consistency on rough terrain and washboard surfaces.

/ 05

Precision-welded pistons

Delivers optimal shock control and structural integrity — the piston is the component that defines the damping curve.
